- 2 oz Tequila (Reposado if Available)
- 1 oz Honey Proof Syrup
- ¾ oz Lemon Juice
- 2-4 Dashes Angostura Bitters
- Lemon Peel to Garnish

Method
- Measure tequila, Proof Syrup, and lemon juice into shaker; add ice and shake until well combined.
- Strain into ice-filled rocks glass and top with 2-4 dashes of bitters..
- Garnish with lemon peel.
Variation: Prior to filling with ice, rinse rocks glass with 1 teaspoon of mezcal; discard excess.
